It’s done. For better or worse, Olli Jokinen is a Ranger.

In a trade that seemed to take longer to complete than the one that sent Wayne Gretzky from Edmonton to L.A. back in 1988, the Rangers late last night acquired Jokinen and Brandon Prust from Calgary in exchange for Ales Kotalik and Christopher Higgins.

It seems a good deal for Ranger´s team , they aren´t getting the expected results , Brandon Prust will be another enforcer with Voros and Brash and Olli Jokinen will play with the best ranger player until now , Marian Gaborik.

Michael Cammalleri, the Montreal Canadiens’ leading goal-scorer, will miss six to eight weeks of action after suffering a right knee injury during Saturday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators, according to a media report.
